Meet Nat and Max
Who are we?
Our names are Nat and Max and we’re a Filipino-Canadian couple based in Vancouver, Canada that started to fall in love with travel way back in 2014.
We were living miles apart as one is in Canada and one is in the Philippines and every 6 months or so we would meet and do all the adventurous fun things together. Whether it be traveling to another country or staying local and trying out their food.
Multiple plane tickets later we tied the knot and moved to Vancouver Canada. This is also where we decided to pick up a camera and document all of our adventures through our social channels. Today we are your emerging travel content creators that live life to the fullest and share moments with anyone keen to look at the world through our lens.
Nathaniel Cruz (Nat)
Hey! my name is Nathaniel and I go by Nat most of the time. Born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to Canada with my family when I was 19. Growing up in the Philippines, I honestly didn’t get a lot of exposure to travel. Which I think is pretty ironic because the Philippines has some of the best destinations to travel to in the entire world. I was only bitten by the travel bug when Max and I started dating and we started creating a bucket list of destinations we want to not only see with our own eyes but as well as experience what the place has to offer.
My primary focus is on the creative side. I’m the main videographer, photographer, editor etc. I also take care of the business side of things.
Maxine Cruz (Max)
Hi there! My name is Maxine and yes I go by Max. Also born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Canada when Nat and I decided to tie the knot. I’m proud to say that the thought of documenting our travel and life moments on YouTube as ‘Nat and Max‘ in a form of a vlog started from me. I’m glad I brought up the idea to Nat as our Youtube channel has then become a time machine where we can look back on our memories.
I am the planner on the team. I make sure that all the details are done and ready to go even before we step outside our home. I am also the secondary videographer and photographer to Nat.
But apart from all this. We’re also leveling up on our biggest role yet. Keep reading below!
A New Family
We just had our first baby, a bouncing baby girl! She’s been building up her travel knowledge and skills, taking notes from all the traveling from Mom and Dad.
We’re excited to introduce her to this big beautiful earth and see the world with a fresh pair of lenses.
